SciTegic was a pioneering software company that developed Pipeline Pilot, a data pipelining and visual programming environment specifically designed for the life sciences industry. The company's technology allowed researchers to automate the analysis of large volumes of chemical and biological data, significantly facilitating drug discovery and development processes. Founded in 1999, SciTegic became a leader in cheminformatics and bioinformatics by providing tools for data integration and workflow automation. In 2004, the company was acquired by Accelrys, and its core technology remains a central component of the BIOVIA brand under Dassault Systèmes.
