Overview
SCOLR Pharma developed a proprietary controlled-release oral drug delivery platform used in both prescription and over-the-counter products. Its lead candidate was a 12-hour extended-release ibuprofen that completed Phase III trials. Several nutritional supplement formulations using the CDT platform were commercialized through partnerships with Perrigo. The company was acquired by Probi USA in October 2016 and is no longer independently active.
