SCORPIO-V

SCORPIO-V is the biological sciences division of HNu Photonics focused on automated microfluidic and live-cell imaging platforms for biological research, especially in microgravity environments. Its flagship Bio-Chip Space-Lab (BCSL) and Mobile SpaceLab enable long-duration cell culture, microscopy, reagent delivery, and remote experiment control aboard the International Space Station. The group supports academic and industry users with customized experimental design for 2-D and 3-D tissue culture, organoids, and organ-on-a-chip studies. SCORPIO-V appears to be a platform and instrumentation business rather than a traditional therapeutics developer, with applications spanning drug discovery, cancer biology, stem cell research, assisted reproductive technologies, and space biology.
