The Scott, Sherwood and Brindley Foundation is a non-profit healthcare and research foundation based in Temple, Texas, that serves as the legal and asset-holding entity for Scott & White Memorial Hospital. Established in 1949, the foundation supports medical research, education, and clinical care within the Baylor Scott & White Health system, which was formed by the 2013 merger of Scott & White Healthcare and Baylor Health Care System. The foundation is notable for its role in the development and licensing of therapeutic candidates, including the recombinant fusion protein tagraxofusp (SL-401), which is now FDA-approved for the treatment of blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm.
