SCR Dairy

SCR Dairy, also known as SCR Engineers, was an Israeli animal health and precision dairy technology company focused on monitoring dairy cows and automating milking intelligence. The company developed wearable sensor tags, milk meters, herd-management software, and analytics systems that helped dairy producers track estrus, rumination, health status, nutrition, and productivity at the individual-cow level. Its flagship Heatime monitoring technology became widely used in commercial dairy operations globally. SCR was acquired by Allflex in December 2014 for approximately $250 million, and its products and technology were later integrated into Allflex and then Merck Animal Health's SenseHub Dairy business. It was not a human biopharma developer, but it was clearly active in animal health technology and livestock healthcare.
