SeaLife Pharma was an Austrian biotechnology company dedicated to the discovery and development of novel therapeutic compounds derived from marine organisms. The company utilized a proprietary technology platform to screen marine natural products for bioactive properties, focusing on high-need areas such as multi-drug resistant infectious diseases and chronic inflammation. Their pipeline featured several pre-clinical candidates, most notably the SLP series of anti-infectives designed to combat resistant strains like MRSA and VRE. Although a pioneer in the field of marine biotechnology in Europe, the company ceased active operations in the mid-2010s.
