Overview
SeaBeLife has demonstrated compelling in vivo proof-of-concept in mouse models for both hepatotoxicity/liver injury and ocular pathologies. Their lead compounds have shown the ability to protect organs by blocking two forms of regulated cell death. IND-enabling studies are underway with plans to enter Phase I clinical trials in humans by early/mid–2025 for liver indications, and by early–2026 for geographic atrophy/dry AMD. The topical eye gel formulation has shown promising preclinical efficacy in delivering active ingredients to the retina[2][10].
