Seasongood and Mayer

Seasongood & Mayer was a historic investment banking and public finance firm headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. Established in 1887, the firm became a dominant force in the Midwest municipal bond market, specializing in underwriting debt for school districts, municipalities, and state agencies. Throughout its history, it provided financial advisory and asset management services to public sector clients, including healthcare providers and educational institutions. In 2007, the firm was acquired by RBC Capital Markets, which integrated Seasongood's operations to strengthen its own U.S. municipal finance business. The acquisition included its subsidiary, Seasongood Asset Management, which managed approximately $1.5 billion in assets at the time.
