SEC Centrotech-CDBMB

SEC Centrotech-CDBMB (Scientific and Engineering Center Centrotech-CDBMB) was a specialized Russian engineering and research organization based in Saint Petersburg, focused on centrifugal technologies and the production of medical isotopes. Operating as a division of the Central Design Bureau of Machine Building (CDBMB) within the Rosatom state corporation, the center was instrumental in developing high-purity Iodine-123 and specialized cyclotron target systems for nuclear medicine. Its work supported the diagnostic imaging sector by providing essential radionuclides for oncology and endocrinology. Following a series of reorganizations, the entity's operations were integrated into the Scientific and Manufacturing Association Centrotech (NPO Centrotech). The center's contributions remain foundational to the production of radiopharmaceuticals and the engineering of isotope separation equipment in Russia.
