Seneca Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing next-generation oncolytic virus therapies for the treatment of solid tumors. The company's lead candidate, SVV-001, is a naturally occurring, non-pathogenic virus that specifically targets and kills cancer cells expressing the Anthrax Toxin Receptor 1 (ANTXR1), which is highly prevalent in many solid tumors but absent in normal tissue.
