Company intelligence / Profile preview
SensiGen's AttoSense HPV assay demonstrated the ability to quantify viral load of human papillomavirus in head and neck cancer patients. Research published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology by the University of Michigan Head and Neck Oncology Team showed that patients with higher HPV concentrations are more likely to respond to organ-sparing chemotherapy. The assay has sensitivity of 98%+ and specificity of 99%+ and can identify all 15 known cancer-causing HPV types in a single automated step.
