Sentebale

Sentebale is a non-profit organization founded in 2006 by Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho to support children and young people affected by HIV/AIDS in Southern Africa. The organization focuses on providing psychosocial support, health education, and advocacy to improve the mental health and wellbeing of vulnerable youth in Lesotho and Botswana. Through its flagship Mamohato Children's Centre and community-based initiatives, Sentebale works to reduce the stigma associated with HIV and ensure that young people have access to necessary care and treatment. The charity also addresses broader issues such as poverty, gender-based violence, and the impact of COVID-19 on vulnerable populations.
