Senticell

Senticell is a Philadelphia-based biotechnology company pioneering a new class of liquid biopsy diagnostics built on red blood cell (RBC)-bound nucleic acids. Exclusively licensed from the University of Pennsylvania and based on research from Penn Medicine, the company's Signal Reservoir Platform leverages the natural ability of red blood cells to accumulate and preserve circulating tumor DNA and RNA. This approach enables the detection of oncogenic driver mutations, minimal residual disease (MRD), and pathogens at significantly lower disease burdens than conventional plasma-based liquid biopsies.
