Overview
Seraxis has developed a proprietary process to manufacture human pancreatic endocrine organoids from a single donor pancreas. Their lead candidate, SR‑02, will enter clinical testing with immunosuppressive therapy for severe recurrent hypoglycemia in type 1 diabetes patients. Preclinical data show long-term normalization of blood glucose in animal models. A follow-on program aims to deliver an immune-evasive version for broader use without chronic immunosuppression.
