Seretex

Seretex was a pre-clinical stage biotechnology company dedicated to the discovery and development of small molecule therapeutics for fibrotic and inflammatory conditions. The company's core technology focused on highly selective antagonists of the serotonin 5-HT2B receptor, a target implicated in the pathogenesis of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and systemic sclerosis. Founded as a spin-out from the California Institute for Biomedical Research (Calibr), Seretex leveraged advanced chemical biology to address unmet needs in vascular and tissue remodeling.
