Shadow’s Fund

Shadow's Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of high-risk shelter dogs, specifically senior dogs and pit bull-type breeds. Founded in 2009 and based in Lompoc, California, the organization operates the Sheltering Oak Sanctuary, a 100-acre facility designed to provide a home-like environment for animals often overlooked by traditional shelters. Their programs include the Bright Beginnings puppy ambassador program and the Take Me Home transport project, all aimed at reducing euthanasia rates for vulnerable canine populations. The organization is funded primarily through private donations and grants, focusing its efforts on the Central Coast of California.
