Shanghai Modern Hasen (Shangqiu) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is a pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Shangqiu, Henan, China. Originally established as a subsidiary of Shanghai Shyndec Pharmaceutical (a member of the Sinopharm Group), the company specializes in the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and finished dosage forms. Its extensive product portfolio covers therapeutic areas such as anti-infectives, neurology, cardiovascular health, and gastroenterology, with key products including Roxithromycin, Piracetam, and Carbamazepine. In late 2025, Henan Yangsen Pharmaceutical Group acquired a controlling 51% stake in the company for approximately CNY 110 million. Shanghai Modern Hasen operates GMP-certified facilities and maintains a significant presence in both the Chinese domestic market and international export markets.
