Shanghai Rxmidas Pharmaceuticals

Shanghai Rxmidas Pharmaceuticals was a private Chinese pharmaceutical company founded in late 2007 by experienced senior executives. The company specialized in the sales, promotion, and lifecycle management of drugs within China, as well as developing a specialty drug pipeline for the Chinese market. It was based in Shanghai and had significant expertise regarding the Chinese pharmaceutical landscape. In December 2010, it formed a joint venture with Gedeon Richter (Hungary) to expand Richter’s business presence—especially contraceptives and OTC products—in China. By January 2016, Gedeon Richter acquired full ownership of their joint venture by buying out all outstanding shares from Rxmidas, effectively absorbing its operations into Gedeon Richter’s local subsidiary structure. There is no evidence that "Shanghai Rxmidas Pharmaceuticals" continues to operate independently after this acquisition.
