Daiichi Sankyo Pharmaceutical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., formerly known as Shanghai Sankyo Pharmaceuticals, is a prominent subsidiary of the global pharmaceutical leader Daiichi Sankyo. Established in 1999 and headquartered in the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, the company serves as a critical hub for the group's operations in China, encompassing research, development, manufacturing, and commercialization. Its portfolio is anchored by established cardiovascular and pain management products like Olmetec and Loxonin, while increasingly focusing on high-growth oncology therapies. The company is currently spearheading the introduction of advanced antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), such as Enhertu, to the Chinese market.
