Shasqi

Shasqi uses its CAPAC platform to deliver high doses of chemotherapy drugs directly to tumors by activating inert protodrugs only at the tumor site through a bioorthogonal click chemistry reaction. This approach aims to minimize systemic toxicity while increasing therapeutic index. Early animal data show up to a 300-fold improvement in tolerability for activated MMAE protodrug compared with conventional MMAE at much higher doses. The company has demonstrated safe delivery of doxorubicin at twelve times the standard dose directly into tumors in vivo. It continues expanding its library of antigen targeting activators and protodrugs with promising preclinical results and presentations at major oncology conferences.
