Shenyang Wanjia Biologic Technology Research Institute

Shenyang Wanjia Biologic Technology Research Institute (also known as Shenyang Wanjia Biotechnology Research Institute Co., Ltd.) is a Chinese biotechnology and pharmaceutical research organization founded in 1996. The institute specializes in the research, development, and formulation of novel drug delivery systems, including supramolecular clathrates, nano-formulations, and sustained-release gels. Notable historical achievements include the development of Aiduo (adenosine diagnostic stress-test agent) and Aiwen (adenosine anti-arrhythmic agent), which were acquired by China Nuokang Bio-Pharmaceutical in 2004. Currently, the institute is advancing a pipeline that includes a Progesterone sustained-release vaginal gel in Phase 3 clinical trials for luteal support and threatened abortion, alongside various cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, and oncology candidates developed in collaboration with Liaoning Wanjia Pharmaceutical Technology.
