Shrem Fudim Kelner (SFK) was a prominent Israeli investment and holding group that played a foundational role in the development of the Israeli venture capital and life sciences ecosystem. Founded in 1991, the firm served as a major financier for high-tech and healthcare startups, operating through various arms such as SFK Technologies. The group is notably credited with the inception of the Polaris fund, which eventually evolved into Pitango Venture Capital, one of Israel's largest and most successful venture capital firms. Although the original partnership eventually dissolved and the company underwent significant restructuring and rebranding as Polar Investments, SFK's legacy remains tied to the early growth of the Israeli biotech and medical device industries.
