SIWA Therapeutics is a preclinical-stage biotech company developing SIWA318H, a proprietary humanized monoclonal antibody that targets a biomarker of oxidative stress on dysfunctional, disease-causing cells—including cancer, senescent, and microbially infected cells. Early data show SIWA318H binds pancreatic cancer, glioblastoma, and renal cancer cells, and has demonstrated efficacy in immune-competent humanized mouse xenograft models for pancreatic cancer, including causing complete remission. No adverse effects were seen in non-human primate studies supporting an IND application. SIWA318H is also being explored for its potential in neurodegenerative and autoimmune diseases, as well as its ability to target senescent cells in the tumor microenvironment that promote cancer progression and metastasis[2].
