Siebel Systems was a pioneer in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and a dominant provider of enterprise applications for the life sciences industry. The company's specialized suites, including Siebel ePharma and Siebel Clinical, provided critical infrastructure for pharmaceutical sales force automation and clinical trial management (CTMS). At its peak, Siebel's technology was utilized by the majority of global pharmaceutical leaders to manage complex regulatory and commercial workflows. In 2006, the company was acquired by Oracle Corporation for approximately $5.85 billion. Its software remains a foundational component of Oracle's Life Sciences and Customer Experience portfolios.
