Siemens Business Services (SBS) was a global IT services and solutions provider that operated as a primary subsidiary of Siemens AG. The company specialized in IT outsourcing, consulting, and systems integration, serving a diverse range of industries including healthcare, public sector, and manufacturing. In the healthcare and life sciences space, SBS provided critical IT infrastructure management, managed services for hospitals, and digital transformation consulting for pharmaceutical companies. In 2007, the entity was integrated into the Siemens IT Solutions and Services (SIS) division to streamline Siemens' technology offerings. This division was eventually acquired by the international IT services firm Atos in 2011 for approximately €850 million. The acquisition marked a significant shift in the European IT services landscape, transferring SBS's extensive service contracts and expertise to Atos.
