Sientra developed and commercialized a portfolio of medical aesthetic devices including fifth-generation silicone gel breast implants with strong long-term safety data, innovative tissue expanders for breast reconstruction with patented drainage technology, an MRI-compatible expander, a fat transfer system with enhanced viability features, human acellular dermal matrix for reconstructive surgery support, and BIOCORNEUM scar gel. Clinical studies demonstrated low complication rates and high patient satisfaction. The company was the first new silicone gel implant manufacturer approved by Health Canada in nearly two decades. In April 2024 its core business assets were acquired by Tiger Aesthetics Medical.
