Originally founded in 2015 as SimpleContacts to provide online vision care and contact lens prescriptions, the company rebranded to Simple Health and expanded its services to include birth control prescriptions and dermatological consultations. The platform utilized asynchronous consultations to connect patients with licensed physicians for prescriptions and ongoing care, aiming to simplify access to essential healthcare. In May 2022, Simple Health was acquired by Thirty Madison, a healthcare company specializing in chronic conditions, and its operations were subsequently integrated into the Nurx brand.
