SINC Fund

The SINC Fund (SINC Opportunity Fund) is a healthcare-focused venture capital fund co-founded and sponsored by SAGES Ingenuity (the for-profit subsidiary of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons) in partnership with Varia Ventures. Launched in 2023, the fund primarily invests in early-stage (Seed to Series A) companies advancing the fields of endoscopic, laparoscopic, and general surgery, as well as gastrointestinal therapeutics and diagnostics. Its portfolio includes innovative healthtech and medtech companies such as Endolumik, NeXtGen Biologics, Vampiro, Geneoscopy, and Hypervision Surgical. The fund provides SAGES members and other clinician-investors with a unique opportunity to invest in peer-reviewed, clinically relevant surgical innovations.
