Overview
Sinovant has advanced several innovative medicines addressing major public health needs in China, including liver cancer and drug-resistant infections. Its pipeline includes small molecule drugs in Phase 2 trials for GI and oncology indications, as well as earlier-stage dermatology programs. The company outlicensed its antibiotic lefamulin to Sumitomo after successful Chinese trials showing non-inferiority to moxifloxacin for pneumonia.[7] It also co-founded Cytovant to develop cell therapies targeting Asian patient populations.[8]
