Sirakoss

Sirakoss is a Scotland-origin orthobiologics and medical device company spun out of the University of Aberdeen to develop synthetic bone graft substitutes for bone repair. Its lead product, Osteo3 ZP Putty, is a nanosynthetic bone graft substitute designed for spine and trauma applications and received FDA 510(k) clearance in 2020. In November 2020, Sirakoss was acquired by OssDsign in an all-cash transaction with additional milestone and royalty consideration, and the product was subsequently commercialized within OssDsign's orthobiologics portfolio as OssDsign Catalyst. Sirakoss's technology is based on proprietary nanostructure and nanochemistry intended to support rapid bone formation and graft resorption. The company sits at the intersection of medtech, biomaterials, and regenerative orthopaedics rather than traditional drug development.
