SIRPL

SIRPL (Stowarzyszenie Importerów Równoległych Produktów Leczniczych) is the leading Polish industry association representing parallel importers of medicinal products. Established in 2006, the organization advocates for the legal and safe distribution of original pharmaceutical products imported from other European Economic Area (EEA) countries to the Polish market. SIRPL plays a critical role in the Polish healthcare system by promoting competition, which significantly reduces drug costs for patients and the national health budget. The association is a key member of the European Association of Euro-Pharmaceutical Companies (EAEPC) and was a founding member of the Polish Medicines Verification Organisation (KOWAL), which implemented the Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD) in Poland.
