Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System

SCL Health was a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization that operated a network of hospitals, clinics, and care sites across Colorado, Kansas, and Montana. Headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado, the system provided comprehensive medical services including emergency care, oncology, cardiology, and orthopedics. Founded by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, the organization grew to include eight hospitals and more than 160 physician clinics. In April 2022, SCL Health completed a merger with Intermountain Healthcare to create a large, multi-state integrated health system. The combined entity now operates under the name Intermountain Health, focusing on value-based care and community health improvement. This merger expanded the system's reach to 33 hospitals and nearly 400 clinics across the Intermountain West.
