Situs Cancer Research Center was a Rogers, Arkansas-based organization that presented itself as a non-profit clinical research entity focused on oncology. The center primarily investigated the use of high-dose intravenous ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) as a treatment for various solid tumors and hematological malignancies, including colorectal and pancreatic cancers. However, the organization was revealed to be a front for a sophisticated fraud scheme led by James W. Bolt, involving the illegal acquisition of millions of dollars in unclaimed assets. In 2013, the facility was raided by the FBI, and Bolt was subsequently sentenced to federal prison for wire fraud, mail fraud, and money laundering. Consequently, the center's clinical programs were terminated or withdrawn, and the organization is no longer active.
