Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Bothell, Washington, the company provided preclinical and clinical research services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Their expertise included bone histomorphometry, biomechanical testing, and various animal models for osteoporosis and fracture healing. SkeleTech was acquired by Cambrex Corporation in 2003 to bolster its biopharma services division and was later integrated into Lonza following Cambrex's divestiture of its bioproducts business.
