Slidell Memorial Hospital

Slidell Memorial Hospital is a 223-bed acute care community hospital located in Slidell, Louisiana, serving the residents of St. Tammany Parish and the surrounding Gulf Coast region. Founded in 1959, the facility provides a comprehensive range of medical services, including 24-hour emergency care, robotic surgery, and specialized cardiac services. The hospital is notably home to the SMH Regional Cancer Center, which offers multidisciplinary oncology treatment. In 2016, Slidell Memorial entered into a strategic Joint Operating Agreement with Ochsner Health to expand clinical programs and improve local access to specialized care. As a public trust hospital, it remains locally owned and governed by a Board of Commissioners.
