Smart Chemicals Group is a Chinese chemical manufacturing and trading enterprise established in 1991. Headquartered in Shanghai with roots in Hebei, the company operates multiple manufacturing plants and an R&D center focused on fine chemicals, oilfield chemicals, and pharmaceutical intermediates. Its life sciences portfolio includes a wide range of active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) intermediates, food and feed additives, and cosmetic ingredients exported to over 30 countries. The group provides custom synthesis services and has expanded its capabilities through acquisitions, such as Finc Chemicals in 2011.
