Smoky Market Foods, Inc. (later known as Purely Smoked Foods, Inc.) was a food technology and processing company that specialized in the production of wood-smoked meat and fish products. The company utilized proprietary, custom-engineered wood-burning oven technology to produce "Smoke-Baked" foods without the use of chemical additives, brines, or preservatives. Its product portfolio included various meats and seafood sold under the Smoky Market and Smoky Kosher brands through retail and foodservice channels. The company also planned to launch a fast-casual restaurant concept called SmokyChef. However, the company faced significant financial challenges, leading to the revocation of its SEC registration in 2015.
