SNA International is a private U.S. company that provides forensic science, biometrics, identity intelligence, public health preparedness, and related technology services primarily to government customers. Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, the company combines biological science, physical science, and IT capabilities to support high-consequence missions such as human identification, mass fatality response, genealogy, Rapid DNA implementation, and laboratory support. Its best-known product appears to be DNAConnect, a forensic DNA information management platform designed to support Rapid DNA casework and compliance workflows. SNA also performs service-based work spanning forensic pathology, DNA, toxicology, epidemiology, emergency planning, and mission support for defense, homeland security, and public safety agencies. While it has biotechnology and public health capabilities, it is not a traditional therapeutics biotech or biopharma company with a drug pipeline.
