Snap Bio was a preclinical-stage biotechnology company based in San Diego, California, that focused on developing first-in-class small molecule therapeutics for oncology and autoimmune diseases. The company utilized a proprietary drug discovery engine that integrated structure-based drug design with advanced synthetic biology and cell-free-biosynthesis (CFB) technology. This platform allowed for the creation of highly selective kinase inhibitors and bispecific molecules designed to overcome drug resistance and reduce toxicity compared to existing treatments. Snap Bio's lead candidates, including SNP-162, targeted endodermal cancers such as hepatocellular carcinoma and hepatoblastoma.
