SNBL Clinical Pharmacology Center

SNBL Clinical Pharmacology Center (SNBL CPC) was a specialized clinical research organization (CRO) focused on early-phase clinical development, specifically Phase I and Phase IIa trials. Based in Baltimore, Maryland, the center was renowned for its expertise in complex clinical pharmacology studies, including first-in-human, dose-escalation, and ethnic bridging trials. These bridging studies were particularly significant for supporting global drug development by comparing pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data between Japanese and Caucasian populations. The facility was strategically located at the University of Maryland BioPark, facilitating collaborations with academic researchers and access to diverse patient populations. In January 2022, the clinical site operations of SNBL CPC were acquired by Novum Pharmaceutical Research Services, integrating the facility into Novum's broader clinical research network.
