Company intelligence / Profile preview
Societe Generale Asset Management (SGAM) was the investment management subsidiary of the French financial services group Société Générale. The firm provided a wide range of investment solutions, including equity, fixed income, and alternative investments, to institutional and individual clients globally. In 2010, SGAM merged with Crédit Agricole Asset Management to form Amundi, which became one of the largest asset managers in Europe. While SGAM managed various sector-specific funds, including those focused on healthcare and biotechnology, it was a financial institution rather than a life sciences company.
