Company intelligence / Profile preview
Soft Health Technologies was a medical device company that specialized in developing non-surgical treatments for female urological conditions. The company's flagship product, the Impressa Bladder Support, is an internal device designed to prevent urine leakage caused by stress urinary incontinence (SUI). In 2013, the technology and associated intellectual property were acquired by Kimberly-Clark, which integrated the product into its Poise brand lineup. The device represents a significant advancement in over-the-counter options for pelvic health, providing a mechanical solution rather than a pharmaceutical one. It was the first internal device for SUI to be cleared by the FDA for over-the-counter sale.
