Solstice Neuroscience

Solstice Neuroscience was a specialty biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of neurological treatments, specifically in the field of movement disorders. The company's primary product was Myobloc (rimabotulinumtoxinB), which was the first and only botulinum toxin Type B approved by the FDA for the treatment of cervical dystonia. Solstice was founded in 2004 to acquire the Myobloc business from Elan Pharmaceuticals and established operations in both Pennsylvania and California. In 2010, the company was acquired by US WorldMeds, which continues to manufacture and market the product globally. The acquisition allowed for the continued expansion of Myobloc's clinical applications, including its later approval for chronic sialorrhea.
