Somatic Experiencing International

Somatic Experiencing International is a nonprofit trauma-healing education organization best known for developing, stewarding, and teaching the Somatic Experiencing approach created by Peter A. Levine. The organization provides professional certificate training, continuing education, crisis stabilization and safety training, practitioner directories, and trauma-related educational resources to clinicians and other professionals worldwide. Rather than operating as a drug-development biotech or pharma company, SEI focuses on non-pharmacological, body-oriented trauma resolution methods and related outreach, research, and community programs. It is active globally and serves as the primary institutional home for the Somatic Experiencing method.
