Southern African HIV Clinicians Society

Southern African HIV Clinicians Society is a South Africa-based non-profit healthcare professional society focused on improving evidence-based HIV care across southern Africa. Rather than operating as a drug developer, the organization provides clinical guidelines, accredited education, conferences, journals, advocacy, and other professional resources for doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and allied healthcare workers. Its flagship activities include publication of the Southern African Journal of HIV Medicine, HIV Nursing Matters, online training courses, and regionally influential HIV treatment and prevention guidelines. The society also supports best-practice implementation in HIV, TB, sexually transmitted infections, and related public health areas. It is an active membership organization with a large clinical network and a strong regional policy and education role.
