Southwest Diagnostic Imaging (SDI) is a leading radiology practice based in Arizona, formed through the merger of Scottsdale Medical Imaging (SMIL), Valley Radiologists, and East Valley Diagnostic Imaging (EVDI). As one of the largest physician-led radiology groups in the United States, SDI provides a comprehensive suite of diagnostic and interventional radiology services, including MRI, CT, PET/CT, and 3D mammography. The organization operates a dedicated Research Institute that supports clinical trials and academic research, serving as an imaging partner for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. In 2017, SDI was acquired by Radiology Partners, the nation's largest radiology practice, while maintaining its strong regional presence and clinical leadership.
