Company intelligence / Profile preview
The Speaking of Women's Health Foundation (NSWHF) was a national non-profit organization dedicated to educating women to make informed decisions about their health, well-being, and personal safety. Founded in 1996 by Dianne Dunkelman, the foundation grew from a local event in Cincinnati to a national movement with conferences in over 40 cities. In December 2008, the foundation's primary branded projects, including the signature 'Speaking of Women's Health' program, were transferred to the Cleveland Clinic Center for Specialized Women's Health. Today, the initiative continues as a Cleveland Clinic program, providing evidence-based health information through podcasts, columns, and community outreach under the leadership of Dr. Holly L. Thacker. The organization's mission is encapsulated in its motto: 'Be Strong. Be Healthy. Be in Charge.'
