The Specialty Soya and Grains Alliance (SSGA) is a national business alliance of U.S. companies focused on the production, processing, and shipping of specialty soya and grains. Formed in 2019 through the merger of the Midwest Shippers Association and the Northern Food Grade Soybean Association, SSGA serves as a central resource for the identity-preserved (IP) industry. The organization promotes the quality and traceability of U.S. non-GMO and specialty crops to global food manufacturers and buyers. SSGA advocates for improved logistics and competitive shipping rates to support the export of high-value agricultural products. It also manages the U.S. Identity Preserved quality mark to ensure product integrity throughout the supply chain.
