Specim is a Finland-based hyperspectral imaging company that develops and sells hyperspectral cameras, imaging spectrographs, software, and turnkey spectral imaging systems for industrial, research, airborne, and governmental users. The company is best known for its broad camera portfolio spanning visible, near-infrared, short-wave infrared, mid-wave infrared, and thermal ranges, as well as application-focused solutions for sorting, inspection, environmental monitoring, geology, food analysis, and life science research. Specim operates as part of the Konica Minolta Group following its 2020 acquisition by Konica Minolta Sensing Europe.
