Company intelligence / Profile preview
Spectrum Veterinary was a U.S. animal health company focused on allergy diagnostics and personalized immunotherapy for companion animals. Founded in 1989 in Phoenix, Arizona, it built a business around serum allergy testing, USDA-certified laboratory services, and customized subcutaneous and sublingual allergy treatments for dogs, cats, and horses. The company served veterinarians and pet owners with diagnostic tools, treatment support, and allergy-management services, and had distribution across North America and additional export markets. In 2017, Nextmune acquired the assets of the Spectrum group and formed Spectrum Veterinary, LLC, and the U.S. business was subsequently rebranded as Nextmune effective January 1, 2021. As a result, Spectrum Veterinary is best understood as a former operating brand/entity within Nextmune rather than a currently standalone biotech or pharma company.
